Dashboards
Persistent surfaces for monitoring many signals over time, built on governed metrics.
Dashboards (/app/dashboards) are persistent surfaces for monitoring several signals over time. Use a report when you need to answer one specific question; use a dashboard when you want to keep watching.
The dashboard library
- Prebuilt dashboards such as Pipeline (
/app/dashboards/pipeline) and Sales process (/app/dashboards/sales-process), maintained by Blocchi. - Workspace dashboards your team built or cloned.
- Shared filters narrow every compatible visual at once. Your data permissions are always enforced, whatever the filter.
Building a dashboard
Open the builder (/app/dashboards/builder) to create your own dashboard or clone a platform default and customize it.
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tabs and widgets | Organize visuals into tabs. |
| Assets | Choose a governed metric and a visualization for each widget. |
| Formulas | Create governed formulas reusable across visuals. |
| Entity metrics | Calculate one reusable value per record of an entity, for example Deal · Days open. |
| Filters | Define filters viewers can use to narrow compatible visuals. |
| Preview | Compute the current draft with the same query path used by published dashboards, without saving. |
| History | Review published versions or restore an earlier definition as a new version. |
A dashboard can also reuse a saved report's definition without copying its query.
Good to know
- Blocchi never runs arbitrary SQL behind a widget; every value comes from a governed definition.
- Legal workspaces have their own dashboards on the same engine. See Blocchi Legal.
/app/dashboardand/app/sales-processare legacy addresses that open the dashboards library.
