Tasks and human work
What needs doing now, and the decisions agents and workflows need a person to make.
Blocchi separates two kinds of work: tasks you do, and human work — decisions, reviews and information that an agent or workflow needs from a person before it can continue.
Tasks
Tasks (/app/tasks) is an operational queue by owner, customer and opportunity.
- What needs doing now groups your work by due window in your local timezone: overdue, today, upcoming.
- Priority is ranked deterministically by urgency, impact, blockers, commitments and your own priority preferences.
- Tasks, commitments, blockers and decisions stay distinct types, and every action uses its governed path.
- Create, complete, reschedule or reassign tasks. Next actions set on customers, people and opportunities appear here when due.
When nothing is urgent, the page says so. Blocchi surfaces new work as it arises.
Human work
Human work (/app/human-work) is the approval queue for agents and workflows.
- Only items in your user, role or queue scope appear.
- Each item explains what is being asked, the state it is bound to and, when requested, the fields you need to fill in.
- Approve, reject or provide information, optionally with a reason. A decision resumes the exact workflow run and revision that created the request.
- State binding — an approval is tied to the exact state you reviewed. If that state changes before you decide, the item is invalidated instead of executing a stale action.
- Items can be claimed and reassigned, and they may carry an SLA; you get notified when one is assigned or approaching its deadline.
- Completed, rejected, invalidated and expired decisions remain auditable in the history.
