Reports
Saved analyses that answer one business question from governed entities, measures and dimensions.
Reports (/app/reports) are saved analyses for specific questions. Build one once and reuse the same governed definition anywhere, including in dashboards, without copying its query.
Creating a report
Open New report (/app/reports/new, also available from Cmd/Ctrl + K) and pick:
- Entity — what you are analyzing, for example opportunities or customers.
- Measures — what you count or sum.
- Dimensions — how you break it down.
- Period and scope — the time window and the slice of the business.
- Visualization — table or chart.
Report Builder never executes arbitrary SQL. If you are not sure where to start, describe the question to the report builder agent and let it propose metrics, filters and a visualization for you to confirm.
Using reports
- Open a report (
/app/reports/[slug]) to run it with the latest data. - Edit (
/app/reports/[slug]/edit) to change its definition. - Add it to a dashboard to monitor it over time.
- Reports are also available through the REST API and MCP, with the same definitions and permissions.
Good to know
- Legal workspaces have the same builder, restricted to Legal semantics. See Blocchi Legal.
- When a measure depends on an unmapped field, the report shows a readiness state rather than an empty or zero result.
